What is Improvado?
Improvado is an ETL platform that extracts data from various data sources, transforms normalized data, and loads the results to a final destination, with over 200 integrations. Improvado pulls sales and marketing data at many granular dimensions, such as campaign level, geo level, ad level, keyword level, etc. With this approach, the vendor states marketers can identify actionable insights based on their dataset.
Because marketing teams and data analysts spend too much time cleaning data instead of analyzing it, Improvado's data preparation capabilities are designed to provide a self-service, point-and-click tool to quickly identify errors and apply rules that can reuse and share, even across massive data sets.
With Improvado marketing common data model (MCDM), an add-on, users can standardize marketing data, regardless of source, to make it equally useful across the enterprise. Improvado MCDM works as a pre-configured template for an automated cross-channel normalization across various data sources. This is to support common marketing analytics use-cases, such as cross-channel analytics, multi-channel attribution, etc.
First, data is collected from different platforms and normalized by the Improvado ONE module. Improvado's universal REST API consolidates data from connected data sources into ONE. The service works at a low level, behaving like a proxy.
This means the user needs only one API instead of dozens to:
- Connect data sources via OAuth (login/password etc.)
- Discover available accounts, campaigns, metrics, etc.
- Place data extraction tasks and get results
- ONE module simplifies scaling, error unification and reduces upkeep.
